I hopped on the bus this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see everyone waiting in line in an orderly fashion. It was a refreshing change from the usual chaos and pushing that I often encounter when trying to board public transportation.
As the bus made its way through the city, I noticed that most people were seated and quietly reading or listening to music. There was a sense of calm and respect for each other's personal space that made the ride much more enjoyable.
When it was time for me to get off, I was impressed by how everyone patiently waited for their turn to exit the bus. There was no shoving or pushing, just a polite and civilized departure from the vehicle.
文明乘车 I couldn't help but think about how much more pleasant the commute would be if every day was like today. If people could just remember to be considerate and respectful of others, the whole experience of public transportation would be so much more bearable.
It's really not that difficult to be civil and courteous when traveling. All it takes is a little awareness and m
indfulness of the people around you. If everyone made an effort to be more civilized on public transportation, I'm sure we would all have a much better time getting from point A to point B.
