I also attended the dragon and lion dances in our neighborhood, which were performed by local artists. The vibrant performances and the thundering sound of drums and cymbals filled the air, bringing joy and excitement to the festival.
In addition to the festive celebrations, I also had the opportunity to learn more about Chinese culture and traditions during the Spring Festival. I watched as my grandparents prepared the traditional New Year's Eve dumplings, folding the wrappers with skilled hands and filling them with delicious fillings. I also learned about the significance of giving red envelopes, or "hongbao," as a symbol of good luck and blessings.
