关于节日的英语作文除了春节和中秋节
Holidays are the best! They're like little breaks from the everyday routine, where we get to do special things and make wonderful memories. While I love celebrating Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival with my family, there are so many other exciting holidays throughout the year that I look forward to.
One of my favorite holidays is Christmas. It's a time when the whole world seems to sparkle with twinkling lights and festive decorations. I love helping my parents put up the Christmas tree and hanging ornaments, each one with its own special story. The best part, though, is writing a letter to Santa Claus, telling him what I'd like for Christmas. It's like a magical ritual, and I always wonder if he'll bring me the present I asked for.
Christmas morning is pure excitement! My siblings and I race downstairs to see what Santa has left under the tree. We tear open the colorfully wrapped gifts, squealing with delight at each new toy or game. After the gift-opening frenzy, we enjoy a delicious Christmas breakfast together, and then it's time to play with our new treasures.
Another holiday that fills me with joy is Halloween. It's the one night of the year when it's okay, even encouraged, to dress up in a crazy costume! My friends and I spend weeks planning our outfits, deciding whether we want to be superheroes, princesses, or maybe even something spooky like a vampire or a ghost.
On Halloween night, we go trick-or-treating, knocking on doors and shouting "Trick or treat!" as we hold out our candy bags. It's so much fun to see all the different costumes people are wearing and to admire the spooky decorations adorning the houses. By the end of the night, our bags are overflowing with chocolates, lollipops, and all sorts of sugary treats.
Then there's Easter, a holiday that always feels like a celebration of spring. My family and I love decorating eggs together, using colorful dyes and fun stickers to create little works of art. On Easter morning, we wake up early to hunt for the eggs that the Easter Bunny has hidden around the house and in the backyard. It's like a giant treasure hunt, and we race to see who can find the most eggs.
After the egg hunt, we enjoy a special Easter brunch, complete with fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, and maybe even a slice of grandma's famous Easter cake. It's a time for family, laughter, and appreciating the new life that springtime brings.
关于中秋    Holidays are also a time for special activities and traditions. On Christmas Eve, we might drive around the neighborhood to admire the twinkling lights and festive displays. For Halloween, we carve pumpkins and tell spooky stories by the light of the jack-o'-lanterns. And during Easter, we might have an Easter egg roll or take part in a community egg hunt.
No matter what the holiday, there's always a sense of joy and excitement in the air. These special days bring families and friends together, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. They remind us to take a break from our busy lives and simply enjoy the moment, surrounded by love, laughter, and plenty of delicious treats.
So, while Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival will always hold a special place in my heart, I'm grateful for the many other holidays that add color, excitement, and tradition to our lives. Each one is a chance to celebrate, make memories, and appreciate the things
that truly matter: family, friends, and the simple pleasures that make life so sweet.
