It was wet and the temperature was below 20℃ last Sunday. I felt bored so I rode a bicycle to a farm near a hill with some friends. All days were quite full for Sue before because she spent almost 80 percent of her free time studying. Tara is my good friend. Though we are in different primary school, we often share some information from school and make each other laugh. She is similar to me. We are both talented in music. Sometimes, we are different. I’m more outgoing than her. She is more serious than me.

There are a few theaters in my hometown. If you want me to choose one, I think Renmin Theater is the best because it has the best service, the most comfortable seats and the biggest screen. And you can buy tickets cheaply. I think everybody, rich or poor, likes it. It’s close to my school. I often go there to watch talent shows. The performers have something in common. For example, they are creative and can sing songs pretty beautifully. Besides, there is a famous magician. He is good at all kinds of magic.
The worst one is Dongfang Theater. It has worse service than Renmin Theater. It is crowded and the air in it isn’t fresh. So you can’t sit there comfortably.
In fact, which theater is the best? As a reporter, I know that’s up to you to decide. But the service plays an important role in deciding. So I hope Dongfang Theater should take it seriously.
Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?
Last Friday we had a discussion about TV programs. Mike like sitcoms because many famous characters in them did a good job. He thought they’re successful. Bob thought the soap operas were simple, but he loved them. One of the main reasons was that they became more and more popular. Peter and Jim had a common interest. They were both interested in comedies. They found out comedies were funny like jokes. Mary liked cartoons because the characters in them like dressing up and taking real person’s place.
As for me, I couldn’t stand films or action movies They were meaningless. I except people to watch news, because it’s educational and rich in information. From news, we may know different cultures. We might understand what happened in the world. So I hope people don’t lose interest in watching news.
