Spring Festival with My Best Friend。
Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China. It is a time for family reunions and celebrations. This year, I spent the Spring Festival with my best friend, Lily.
Lily and I have been best friends since we were in kindergarten. We grew up together and have shared many happy memories. This year, we decided to spend the Spring Festival together because both of our families were out of town.
On the eve of the Spring Festival, Lily and I went to the market to buy some decorations. We bought red lanterns, couplets, and a big red paper cutout of the character "fu", which means good fortune. We also bought some snacks and fruits to prepare for the New Year's Eve dinner.
At night, we helped each other cook the dinner. Lily made dumplings and I made fish. We also prepared some other dishes, such as stir-fried vegetables and braised pork. We set the t
able, lit the red candles, and waited for the New Year's Eve countdown.
As the clock struck twelve, we heard the sound of firecrackers outside. We went to the balcony and saw the sky lit up with colorful fireworks. We hugged each other and wished each other a happy new year.
On the first day of the Spring Festival, Lily and I went to the temple fair. We played games, watched performances, and ate snacks. We also bought some souvenirs, such as red envelopes, lucky charms, and handmade crafts.
During the rest of the holiday, we visited some scenic spots, watched movies, and had hotpot. We also did some shopping and tried some new restaurants. We had a lot of fun and laughter together.
春节 英语 As the Spring Festival came to an end, we exchanged gifts and said goodbye. We promised to spend the next Spring Festival together again. Although we are not related by blood, we are like sisters. We share the same joy and sorrow, and we always support each other. I am grateful to have such a wonderful friend like Lily.
