Jingwei Fills the Sea

Today, I will tell you the story of a brave little girl who wanted to fill the sea.
Once upon a time , there was a girl named Nuwa. She was the little daughter of Yandi , the god of the Sun.
One day,when she went sailing and playing on the East Sea .
Suddenly,a strong wind arouse at sea.
The waves were as high as mountains and hit her.
Soon,the sea broken the small boat. Nuwa never came back.
Nuwa’s spirit turned into a bird , Jingwei .
She lived on a mountain near the sea .
Jingwei hated the sea.
so she wanted to fill it up . Everyday , she flew between the mountain and the sea .Carrying a pebble from the mountain ,And then she dropped it into the sea .
One day , the sea shouted at Jingwei:
Little bird , stop this !It’s meaningless .You ’ll never fill me up .
I will! Even if it keeps me going for ten million years, I will fill you up . said Jingwei , flying high in the sky .
The brave little bird kept carrying twigs and pebbles from the mountain to the Eastern Sea without taking a rest .
Jingwei's spirit of not being afraid of difficulties and never giving up is worth learning.At the same time, it also symbolizes the attitude of China and Chinese perseverance and progress in spite of difficulties.

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Nuwa , the youngest daughter of Yan Di. Yan Di liked her very much.On a sunny day, Nuwa went boating on the Eastern Sea.Suddenly, a strong wind rose and her boat was capsized by a huge wave.She fell into the water and died. Her spirit turned into a beautiful bird with pretty patterns, white mouth and red claws. She made the sad sound”Jingwei, Jingwei” all day. So people called the bird Jingwei.
Jingwei lived on a mountain near the sea. She hated the sea so much.In order to stop the sea from doing evil things and taking other people's lives.Jingwei decided to fill up the sea. Every day, she took some small stones or twigs from the mountain and dropped them into the sea.
One day, the god of the sea said,”Poor little bird, stop doing the stupid thing,! You'll never fill me up.” Jingwei replied,”No! I will keep doing it even thousands of years. I will fight on until doomsday!”
No matter it was stormy or sunny，no matter it was gone through thousands of years.Jingwei has been sticking to it.The sea is boundless and may never be filled. But Jingwei’s indomitable spirit is worth learning. As students, we should study with the spirit of perseverance. So that we can learn more knowledge and become the pillars of our country.
