二、学情分析
本节课的授课对象三年级学生，经过二年多的英语学习他们都有一定的语言知识积累。大部分的学生乐于思考，渴望用英语交流、表达自己的观点，喜欢课堂中的师生互动，喜欢小组合作学习。
课前对学生进行了词汇的前测。学生的问题集中在cushion 和snore 的发音，以及cushion，rug 和snore  三词的词义理解。
三、教学方式
本节课采用PWP 三段式阅读教学方式，将阅读教学分为pre-reading, while-reading, 和post-reading 三个阶段。Pre-reading 教学的核心任务是为阅读做准备；While-reading 教学是阅读教学的核心，各种阅读能力的培养都是通过读中阶段的教学完成的；Post-reading-侧重对思维品质的培养及拓展和对语言知识的综合应用。
从教材出发，通过师生交流、学生二人交流、四人小组交流，学生思维一步步得到拓宽，借助旧知和新知，完成产出任务，达成目标。
授课前对学生进行了词汇前测，确定词汇教学目标。
四、教学手段
本节课主要使用了PPT 演示文稿、板书、实物教具。在演示文稿中插入音频和视频，通过视听说多种模态，构建立体教学内容，调动学
生视、听、说等多个感官参与学习。通过小组合作讨论，使同学在思维碰撞中激发语言生成。
