教案
Theme: Happy Zoo
目标 (Objectives):
1. To introduce vocabulary related to animals such as elephant, lion, giraffe, monkey, and zebra
2. To develop the listening and speaking skills of the children
3. To promote the ability of children to ask and answer simple questions
4. To encourage children to learn and enjoy the English language
教法 (Teaching Method):
- Total Physical Response – Children will learn through movement and action.
- Cooperative Learning – Children will work together, engage in discussions, and help each other learn.
- Visual Learning – Children will learn through pictures and visual aids.
- Songs and Rhymes – Children will learn through singing and repetition.
教具 (Materials):
- Pictures of animals
- Flashcards of animals
- Video or audio of animal sounds
- Song lyrics
教学过程 (Teaching Procedure):
1. Warm Up (10 minutes)
- The teacher will greet the children and introduce the topic of the lesson by saying, “Today, we will talk about a happy place with lots of animals. Do you know what that is?”
- The teacher will show pictures of animals and ask the children to name them. As each animal is named, the teacher will ask the children to make the sound the animal makes.
2. Vocabulary (15 minutes)
- The teacher will use flashcards to introduce the animals in the zoo. As each animal is introduced, the teacher will show the picture and say the name of the animal.
- The teacher will ask the children to repeat the names of the animals.
- The teacher will play a video or audio of animal sounds and ask the children to listen and match the sound to the corresponding animal.
3. Song (15 minutes)
- The teacher will teach the children a song about the animals in the zoo. The song can be
“Walking in the Jungle” by Super Simple Songs.
- The teacher will sing the song while the children follow the actions.
- The children will sing the song with the teacher while following the actions.
4. Activity (15 minutes)
- The teacher will divide the children into small groups.
- The children will take turns rolling a dice with animal pictures on each side. When a child rolls the dice, they must name the animal and make the sound it makes. The other children in the group must then repeat the name of the animal and its sound.
5. Closure (5 minutes)
- The teacher will gather the children together and ask them to name some of the animals they learned today.快乐动物园

The teacher will congratulate the children on their progress and encourage them to practice at home.
扩展活动 (Extension Activity)
- The children can draw and color pictures of their favorite animals and share them with the class.
