2．Read the words

1.出示各种图片，让学生猜测
“tall or short ; big or small  thin or strong”
2．出示自己朋友的照片，让学生猜人物特征
A boy or a girl?
Tall or short?
Look and choose  has glasses or not?
Who is he /she?
3. 呈现对话
John has a friend，Let’s guess who is he/she?
A boy or girl?
Tall or short?
4. Listen to the tape and answer the question
Who is john’s friend?    Wu yifan
5. Listen to the tape again and answer the question
What’s he like?
Ss will answer: “He’s a boy .He’s tall and thin .He has glasses . His shoes are blue”
6.Look at the picture and teach them

2)小组活动
①用以上句型描述自己的好朋友。小组选一名同学到讲台上汇报，让其他小组的同学猜，如果根据描述还猜不出来可以继续想向台上的同学进行提问，知道确定位置。
11．说说我的卡通人物
1）教师先拿着课前准备的卡通人物，分发给学生
2）让一名学生拿着分到的卡通人物图片，不让别人看到他/她的图片，到台前描述卡通人物的特征，让全班同学猜。
