    Now, I want to say something about your itinerary. You will be here forabout 3 days. During these days, you’ll enjoy not only the beautiful scenery ofHuangshan Mountain, but also the ancient Huizhou-Culture!
    First, we’ll visit the most beautiful scenery—Mt.Huangshan.
    Ok, we’re heading for the main gate of Huangshan. It’s about 1.5 hour’s busride. On the way you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and I’d like to give you abrief introduction about Mt.Huangshan.
    There are two approaches to Hua Shan. [Chinese proverb: “There is one roadand only one road to Hua Shan,” meaning that sometimes the hard way is the onlyway.] The west entrance involves 10 kilometers of walking on a road before youstart climbing. We went with the east entrance, where the bus brings you to thebase of a cable car that goes up to the 1500 meter North Peak. Our plan was towalk up to the North Peak, then climb to the four other peaks the next day andtake the cable car down.
    Huangshan is probably the most notable mountain in China. It’s located inthe South of Anhui Province, and the main scenic area covers 154 squarekilometers. Mt.Huangshan is well-known not only of its magnificence but also itsabundant resources and great variety of zoological species, for which it hasbeen listed as a world natural and cultural heritage s
ite in 1990, and alsolisted as a world geological garden in 2005, which is unique in China!
