旁白：（伴着音乐）In a beautiful country, there lived a king and a queen. They had a life princess. The family lived a happy life. But before long, the queen died. The king married another woman. She was beautiful, but proud and arrogant. She couldn’t bear anyone being more beautiful than her. She had a magic mirror.

  大约过了十分钟，鸟儿终于露面，是只肥硕的大鸟。其身如鸽子般大小，外形也和鸽子相似，不同的是颈部有一带白斑花纹的羽毛，看上去像是围了一条花围巾，漂亮极了。它先是飞到我窗外的树枝上歇息，之后“扑棱”一声来到我的窗台上，两只绿豆般圆溜溜的大眼睛转个不停，十分警觉地看看四周。见没什么危险，才摇摆着走到鸟巢前，轻盈地跳到巢中，蹲在鸟蛋上，开始孵蛋。
  尽管鸟儿们每年都在窗外叫个不停，飞翔嬉戏，但我还真是没在意过它们。但这次不同了，一只鸟儿直接飞临我的窗台筑巢，让我再也无法忽视。我的行动格外小心，生怕影响鸟儿孵蛋。
  我赶紧查阅资料，得知其名为斑鸠，属于鸟纲鸽形目。
  就这样，我每天上班，斑鸠也上岗。我每天进办公室，第一件事，就是轻手轻脚地走到窗前，把窗帘掀开一条缝，生怕惊吓着斑鸠。每每这时，就见斑鸠警觉地转动着眼睛，朝窗内望两眼，便飞到旁边的树枝上。
  慢慢地，斑鸠开始信任我了。之后开窗时，斑鸠先是一惊，起身展翅欲飞，却并未真的飞走。再往后，干脆稳坐巢中不动，还拿一双信任的眼睛看着我，让我无比感动。
  这一天，我见到一只体形肥硕的大斑鸠，先是飞到窗外的树枝上歇息，见周边没有“外敌”，便飞到窗台上，来到巢边。巢中那只稍清瘦一点的斑鸠，纵身一跳，落在窗台上，大斑鸠“扑通”一声飞到巢中，继续孵蛋。我连忙用手机将这段场景记录下来。原来，斑鸠夫妻是轮番进行孵蛋的。
  亲眼见证新生命的诞生，是我这些天最为幸福的一件事。这是一份难得的生命体验，让我激动并欣喜着。
  一天早上，当我来到办公室，轻轻掀开窗帘的一刹那，我被震撼了。只见巢中一团黑乎乎的小东西正在轻轻地蠕动。我确认，那是小斑鸠无疑。好奇心驱使我贴近玻璃去仔细观察。这是一对小斑鸠，毛茸茸的，十分可爱。身上没有羽毛，只能看到黑里透红的皮肤，表皮长了一层碎细的茸毛。那一吐一吸之间，分明能看到那一对小斑鸠身体的律动。我看到斑鸠妈妈与两只小斑鸠嘴对嘴亲密，如果没有猜错，应该是斑鸠妈妈正在“渡食”吧。
