摘要：To provide a tin-plated steel sheet for a can that has an excellent flaw resistance.SOLUTION: A tin-plated steel sheet for a can includes a tin-plated layer on the surface of a steel sheet. A plating base on a surface of the steel sheet has an arithmetic average roughness Ra of 0.70-1.00 μm in the width direction of the steel sheet, and the single-sided tin coating weight of the steel sheet is 2.45-3.2 g/m. The amount of chromium hydrated oxide on the tin-plated layer surface is preferably 3-8 mg/m. Or the amount of metallic chromium on the tin-plated layer surface is preferably 6-14 mg/m. A suitable component composition comprises, by mass%: C of 0.03-0.05%; Si of 0.03% or less; Mn of 0.15-0.35%; P of 0.020% or less; S of 0.010-0.021%; sol.Al of 0.020-0.064%; N of 0.0050% or less; and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: None
