1. Could you tell me something about yourself? 请自我介绍一下好吗？
  Could you…？/Would you…?是个常用句型，could/ would在此不是过去形式，它此时表示语气委婉、有礼貌。在希望得到肯定答复的疑问句中，以及在含有表示建议、请求和征求意见的疑问句中，常用some和something, 而不用any和anything.
翻译：Would you like_________ to drink?  你想喝点什么吗？

mind的常用句型及其回答：
（1） Do / Would you mind if sb. do……某人做某事你介意吗？
（2） Do / Would you mind doing sth.? 你介意做某事吗？
（3） Do / Would you mind one’s doing sth.? 你介意某人做某事吗？
表示“不介意”时，说：Of course not. / Certainly not. / Not at all.
表示“介意”时，不能直接用“Yes”回答，应该委婉地说：I am afraid you can’t/ I am sorry, but…… / Sorry, you’d better not.

句型“there is no need to do sth”，意思是：没有必要做某事。

（1） since 后接时间点，句子常用现在完成时。

（2）since后接句子，引导时间状语从句。
翻译：I haven’t heard from him since I lived in Shanghai.
