Introduction
This report reveals the production of phones sets and cellphones in Telecomm Factory from 1998 to 2008.
Findings
Although the output of these two products is not stable, on the whole we could see the rising trends. From 1998 to 2001 the production of phones sets levels off around 800 million and then experiences a
slight increase to 1, 400 million until 2006. It remains constant between 2006 and 2008. With regard to cellphones, the production jumps from 200 million and in 2005 reaches the peak of 1,400 million, and then in 2006 goes back to 1,100 million. After that it comes up to 1,200 million in 2007 and decreases to 1,100 again in 2008. As can be seen, the cellphones fluctuate a little compared with the production of phones sets.

As can be seen from the above graphs, in late 1992 the issue price of shares in Scorpio was $ 6. The price then rose but fell sharply at the end of 1993. In 1994 prices recovered slightly but were still below the issue price. They dropped again and recovered to come to the issue price in late 1994 when the company was finally bought back.
In January 1992 the issue price of shares in the West End Group was just more
than $ 5. In spite of a couple of falls, the price rose stably throughout the late 1990s and never fell below the issue price. In mid-1996 the buy-back was over double the issue price.

Comparison of Performance of ATC and SMArk T extiles
In 2003, the output of ATC was 60,000 units, which increased rapidly and peaked in 2004. However, it dropped drastically from 2004 to 2005, reaching the lowest point at the end of 2005. In the period of 2006-2007, owing to the stronger demand, it recovered and increased steadily.
The trend for SMArk is similar to that of ATC before 2007. Nevertheless, its output generally fallen behind ATC, reaching only 22,000 units at its peak in 2006. The reason is that it only started production in 2003 and could not manage to get as many orders. Its output fell slightly in 2007 due to limited capacity. Therefore, it is very necessary for SMArk to expand so as to gain larger market share.
