俗话说得好“⼈有三急”，作为“必备功课”，上厕所是不可避免的。出门在外，免不了要上⼀趟公共厕所。⼀般来说，除了偶尔的⼩⼴告之外，⼤多数的公厕都会贴着标语，以此提醒⼤家要注意⼀下环境卫⽣。
⽐如说男厕的“向前⼀⼩步，⽂明⼀⼤步”，还有⽐较常见的“来也匆匆，去也冲冲”，⾄于⼥厕，那就不太晓得了。
其实不⽌国内，国外的公厕也是如此，那么国外公厕的标语翻译过来是什么意思呢？看完下⾯内容，⼩编真是笑的不⾏。
美国⼈的“”⽂化很盛⾏，就连厕所的标语也是。男厕的标语他们是这样翻译的：
Please stand close. You are holding a pistol. Not a rifle.
请站得近⼀点，你端的是把⼿，不是步（来福）。
哈哈，⽼司机看到这翻译必定会⼼⼀笑。可以看出，美国⼈不仅喜欢⽤“”作⽐喻，还喜欢拿⼿和步来调侃长短，既有提醒作⽤，⼜不失幽默感。
下⾯这句可谓开车都开到脸上来了，实在是毫不隐晦：
Would you please stand closer, because your Big John is not as long as you think.
能不能站得近⼀些，因为你的“Big John”不像你想象得那么长。
亮点就在“Big John”，根据语境⼤家都猜到是什么了。上⾯这种译法，再简短⼀点就是：Stand closer; It's shorter than you think.
还有下⾯这种译法：
We aim to please. You aim too , please.
我们的⽬标是使你满意，也请你瞄准。
这⾥利⽤了aim和please的⼀词多义。第⼀个aim表⽰“⽬标”，第⼆个aim表⽰“瞄准”；第⼀个please表⽰“使满意”，第⼆个please表⽰“请”。
Come in a rush, leave with a flush.
来也匆匆，去也冲冲。
这个翻译的语法结构⽐较⼀致，in a rush和with a flush都是介宾短语作状语。另外，rush和flush也⽐较押韵。
不过Come in a rush还有另⼀层意思，它是“快速shè jing（zǎo xiè）”的委婉说法。
下⾯⼩编再来给⼤家普及⼀下有关厕所的专有名词：
1. Bathroom：卫⽣间

8. Potty：上厕所(⼀般⼉童使⽤)

(做动词)：妈妈：我要上厕所。
9. Take a 1/2：⼤⼩便(1指的是⼩便，2指⼤便)
A: I have to go to the bathroom.

⼩便还是⼤便？
10. My bladder is bursting！
我的膀胱要炸了！(真的憋不住的时候使⽤)
