篇一:The Ugly Duckling(丑小鸭
Good morning, everyone. Today I’d like to tell you a story about a duckling that faced lots of difficulties before becoming a beautiful swan. It’s called “The Ugly Duckling”.
Once upon a time, in a farm, a duck sat on her eggs and waited for them to hatch. When one egg didn’t hatch with the others, the duckling inside had to kick harder and harder until it finally broke its shell. But when it tried to follow the other ducklings to swim, they laughed and called it an ugly duckling because it didn’t look like them. It was really sad, and so it ran away.
On its journey to find someone like it, the duckling met lots of creatures, including a chicken, a cat, a fox, and more. But none of them wanted to be friends with it because of the way it looked. The ugly duckling was more and more depressed, and it wanted to give up.
Until one day, it saw a group of beautiful swans swimming gracefully in the pond. The duckl
ing was so amazed by their beauty that it decided to take a closer look. But when it got there, the swans didn’t shoo it away; instead, they welcomed it with open wings. At the same time, the ugly duckling looked into the pond, and in the reflection, it saw that it had transformed into a beautiful swan too, just like its friends.
So, kids, this story teaches us to never judge a book by its cover. We should not judge anybody based on their appearance or where they come from, for we are all unique and special in our own way.

篇二:The Ant and the Grasshopper(小学生英语演讲稿蚂蚁蚱蜢
Hello, everyone. Today I’m going to tell you a story about the importance of hard work and preparation. It’s called “The Ant and the Grasshopper”.
One beautiful summer day, a grasshopper hopped and sang while an ant tirelessly went back and forth, gathering food for the winter. The grasshopper laughed at the ant and said,
“Why do you work so hard when you can play and enjoy the sun like me?”
The ant replied, “I’m getting ready for winter when the weather will be cold and food will be scarce. I can’t relax just yet.”
But the grasshopper continued to play and sing, confident that he had plenty of time. He even mocked the ant as “a silly labourer”.
So the season changed, and winter came. The grasshopper was hungry, cold, and without food. He remembered the ant and went to its home, hoping for some of the food that the ant had stored. The ant, though angry, decided to share its food with the grasshopper. However, he warned, “This is the last time I’ll help you. Learn from the lesson and prepare for next year in advance.”
Kids, this story teaches us that being prepared and working hard will help us enjoy success in the future. We should not neglect responsibilities, but rather be disciplined and work hard at achieving our goals.

篇三:The Three Little Pigs(三只小猪
Good morning, kids. Today I’m going to tell you a story about how careful planning, hard work, and persistence lead to success. It’s called “The Three Little Pigs”.
Once upon a time, there were three little pigs, each with their own houses – straw, wood, and brick. A hungry wolf saw them and tried to blow the straw house down, but the pigs managed to escape to the wood house. The wolf tried again, but this time the wood house was also not strong enough. So the pigs ran to the brick house.
The wolf tried repeatedly to blow the brick house down also, but failed. Frustrated, he decided to sneak down the chimney. However, the clever pigs had a pot of boiling water ready for him, falling right on top of him when he came in. The wolf then fled, never to return again.
Kids, this story teaches us that careful planning, hard work, and persistence will lead us to
success. It also teaches us that we must not judge someone or something by how it appears on the outside or how it looks like, but judge it by its intrinsic value.
