一、课题说明
本课的教学材料选自人民教育出版社《义务教育教科书英语(三年级起点)六年级上册》Unit 1 (P 11)。该故事板块呈现的是Zoom在伦敦问路去买食品的故事。学生复习巩固并拓展本单元所学的核心语言
教学中通过故事主人公Zoom问路的过程,推进故事理解,通过对故事非文字信息图片的解读,不断挖掘学生想说的语言。增加学生语言的输入,理解一定的文化背景。
二、学生情况说明
1. 本课是学生喜爱的故事环节,有老朋友Zoom和Zip。
2. 知识基础符合六年级学生学习本课的需求。在该单元已经进行了交流场所的方位、礼貌寻求他人帮助、问路或作答等语言内容的学习。在学习过程中,学生已经具备完成学习任务的基础,能够通过与他人交流,更好地理解故事。
三、教学目标
1. 知识目标:
通过阅读趣味故事,复习巩固本单元所学语言,增加学生语言的输入。
三年级英语小故事2. 能力目标
(1) 能够理解故事内容;能按照意及语音、语调朗读故事。
(2) 能表演故事,恰当运用故事中的语言。
3. 情感目标:
在阅读与故事的过程中,激发热爱阅读英语的情感;享受阅读带来的快乐;感受西方的建筑、饮食文化。
四、教学重难点
1. 能够理解故事大意,能够综合运用本单元的核心语言,在语境和图片的帮助下理解“London Eye, Thames, Fish & Chips, portion”等词汇的意思,并能正确发音。
2. 能按正确的意及语音、语调朗读故事,表演故事并恰当运用故事中的语言。五、课前准备

Pre-reading
1. Sing a song: Where is the hospital?
T: Hello, boys and girls, are you ready for our class? First, let’s sing a song.
2. Listen and do
T: So how can we get to the hospital or park? Turn left or turn right? Now please listen to my orders and do the gestures.

T: Great. I see. All of you can follow the directions. How about Zoom and Zip? Can they follow the directions? Today let’s read a story about Zoom and Zip.

While-reading
1. Talk about a kind of Chinese food: tanghulu.
T: Look, what’s this? Zoom and Zip are talking about tanghulu.
T: Look, tanghulu is in our class, how interesting! Do you like it? Can you say something about Tanghulu?
T: Where can we buy or find tanghulu? It’s from Beijing, China, because it’s a kind of Chinese food. Just like: dumplings, zongzi and so on. So can you guess where Zoom and Zip are?
2. To watch the whole story
T: Let’s watch the story and find out, where are Zoom and Zip right now?
They are in London / London Eye.
London is the capital of England, the biggest city in England.
London Eye is in London. It’s the third biggest Ferris wheel in the world.
T: Wow! Zoom and Zip travel in London now. Let’s go with them. Please read the story by yourself.
(1) Let’s read and learn Thames, finally, portions, stomach
(2) Read and match
T: Zoom asks three questions, can you find them?
A. Where can I buy one?
B. Excuse me. Where is the London Eye?

用倒叙的方式,从故事末的主人公Zoom和Zip喜欢吃糖葫芦开始,引出故事发展,也为后面的故事发展作首尾呼应。
听音核对信息,自然引出故事的大背景:伦敦,并对伦敦城、伦敦眼进行一定的背景介绍。
通过学生的自主阅读,在阅读故事中解决词、句难点。
由问路的三个问题,推进故事的发展,呈现故事的核心语言。
由Zoom的情绪为暗线,看图预测,挖掘学生想说的语言,推进故事的发展。
小组合作,理解故事中的路线并合作粘贴出位置图,最后进行小组的反馈。考察学生的语言综合理解、运用能力。
通过角朗读,体会故事主人公的情感,加深对故事的理解。
通过再次对故事非文字信息图片的解读,挖掘学生想说的语言。
通过假设,启发学生的思维,并在情境中,理解词句的真正含义。
