Do you worry that you might be wasting ( 浪费) food? During the COVID-19 pandemic, people around the world went hungry. But then people came up with ways to help. One was to put fridges filled with food outside.
But it started before COVID-19 began. In 2016, a restaurant owner(店主)in Kochi, India thought of the idea late one night when she saw a lady looking for food in a trash can (垃圾桶).
She was really sad because that night, her restaurant had made lots of food and she didn’t give any to her.
